But I couldn't. The sole is very stiff, so it felt like walking on a board. The upper pinched me on the toes and midfoot. And the toebox is very small. Plus the kiltie looks silly, but it is easy to remove it non-destructively. I was drawn by the Goodyear welt construction and waterproof Goretex lining with steel toe, but comfort is king, so these are on the truck back to Shoebuy. By the way, the description says "imported" but should say "Made in China."

I bought these shoes for my grandson. He started a new job that required steel toe shoes. The job was in a frozen foods warehouse and he needed the insulation as well. He loved the style plus the quality.

These boots are great great! My husband wears them on concrete twelve to fourteen hours a day and his feet don't hurt, and he has bad ankles. He said they were comfy and light weight . There was no break-in period.
