The upper is a sandwich of synthetic materials providing support, while the extended comfort Gore-Tex® membrane offers the perfect balance of breathability with upcoming waterproofness.
A medial TPU midsole cage offers heel strike stability and a lightweight TPU forefoot plate protects the foot from uneven terrain. The Maiko ll sole is meant for loose and unpredictable trail conditions. This is built on Velocity last.

With a minimal break-in period these shoes, became some of the most comfortable I have ever worn. They did feel narrow at first, but within 6 hours of wearing them, they fit perfect. I haven't stood in water yet, but the heavy morning dew in the fields and on the trails I run on was never a problem. Great shoes for the money!
