This is my third pair of Sundowners, and my fifth pair of Vasque boots. I love this model. It has a classic look and is a very comfortable, capable boot. In the past I've happily used them on extended backpacking trips (on and off trail), as well as simply a winter casual shoe. That's why I had no hesitation about purchasing another pair.

My son loves these boots. This makes his second pair over a 4 year period. He loved the fact that there was no stretching the boot and waiting for it to conform to his foot. It felt great the moment he put it on.

I own one other pair of Vasque boots, plus I own a pair of Vasque cross-trainers. I've worn my boots for approximately 6 years and am very hard on my footwear. They are very comfortable and work well for hiking or every day wear. I bought this pair in a different color. These boots are sturdy, well-made, and last for years. They are worth the price.
