We took our best selling vertical laptop brief/pack, made it bigger, and added a dedicated file compartment.
Fabric: Tru-Ballistic Nylon; High Density Ripstop.
Features: Removable, padded computer sleeve offers effective light-weight protection. "Stay-Put" shoulder strap keeps brief from slipping around. Sturdy bag, fragile buckles

I've had one of these for six years, and it's held up pretty well. Exceptions: Both buckles have one side broken. The "PDA pocket" is beginning to rip on one side where it attaches to the main bag. The clip at the end of the key strap fell off. Otherwise, it's pretty well designed - it has spaces for pens, accessories, stuff that isn't a laptop, a cell phone pocket, etc. I'll buy another.

I've had this now for 7+ years. The fabric has held up well, but both plastic buckles for the straps broke partially within the first year, plus one of the zipper handles broke (which makes a sharp point). It holds the largest laptops (back then, Dell Inspiron 15"), which was a distinguishing selling point.
