I haven't taken them out for a very long outing yet but they feel great so far, and I will be taking them to Germany with me. Maybe I will do some hiking in the Alps.They are light weight but seem very sturdy. I had no problem breaking them in and I normally have problems with new shoes. I would recommend them.

This Timberland boot is exactly what I had been looking for. It fits very comfortably and needed very little 'break in' time. The quality is very good. This pair should last me quite a while.
