I am so very happy with this little boot! It was very comfortable immediately. It kept my feet warm and cozy for the Montana ski vacation I got them for. I wear them often still with pants and better yet in tights and a skirt where I get alot of compliments on how cute they look.

Color is fabulous. Fit is great. Toe box not too wide but roomy enough for warm socks. Grips relatively well except on polished ice, in which case nothing grips well. I love these boots... Would recommend to anyone looking for fashion that meets function.

The Janey boot can be worn the entire day. At some point,you forget they are on - and remember that your feet are cozy warm. The sole massages the bottom of the feet and give a good comfortable walk. Enjoy wearing them - perfect for long cold days.

They just arrived and I am beyond smitten! The style, fit and function are amazing and the fact that they will look great not only with jeans but tights and a skirt/dress only makes me love them more. They are so much more lightweight compared to my other winter boots and feel like I'm walking on a cloud.I predict I will wear these boots 5 out of the 7 days of the week all winter long!

I packed just two pairs of shoes for a 5-day trip to Iceland in February--The North Face Janey boots and a pair of heels. I wore these boots on the plane, hiking on a glacier, walking on the beach, out to dinner and much more. They look great with jeans or with tights and a casual dress. Very versatile! They are plenty warm outside (with SmartWool socks), but also not too warm to wear on a 6-hour flight. I usually wear a size 10 in boots, but the 9.5s were perfect. I get lots of compliments.

I searched for weeks before deciding on these boots, and couldn't be happier with them! They are cute, very comfortable, and so warm. I love these boots and would highly recommend them!

These boots are great! They're waterproof, comfortable, warm and most importantly work great in icy conditions! I live in Vermont and have used them for all the recent storms and haven't had any problems. They're a bit hard to tie on the back, but they're also pretty fashionable, so you could also wear them in area with less severe winter conditions. I definitely recommend them!

Gorgeous boots that I love, but, they are difficult to lace up the back and keep the tongue in the proper position. If the tongue isn't right it's not only uncomfortable but allows the snow to reach inside.

Bought these strictly for warmth in my very cold office. If the soles were thicker so as to provide better insulation from icy pavement (and indoor cold tile floors) I would have given them 5 stars. The other improvement would be a full zipper to speed up pulling them on and off. But they look and feel great otherwise!!
Wears this shoe: When they are appropriate to rest of outfit -- about 4 days a week.
