Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I have not had an opportunity to test the product much on ice or significant amounts of snow, but I believe the boots provide more security on slippery surfaces. They also are nice-looking.They are very difficult to put on. I find this is becoming somewhat easier with more wear and also thinner socks. Wears this shoe: When we have icy/snowy conditions
