I bought this shoe as a play shoe for my son. I wanted to get something dark so it wouldn't show dirt. They are nice shoes so we don't only use them for play. This shoe bends easy and I love that! Easy to get on and off. All in all I am glad I bought this shoe!

This is the second time I have purchased this shoe for my son. When he outgrew the first pair, I shopped for something else for variety sake, but we loved the first pair so much and I found a great deal on shoebuy.com that I purchased the same pair in a larger size. Easy to get on and off, rugged, takes a lot of abuse, good color, and of course, they are Stride-Rite so they are good for his feet.

My son's foot is an extra wide width and it can be hard to find a good shoe. He likes to wear this shoe, no complaints that it is too tight. I like the shoe also for winter because the brown suede can be worn with jeans or dressier pants.
