Very stylish shoe, and will improve with time.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Great looking dress/casual boot. The steel gray color is a bit "shiny" and does look a bit like pleather, but with time/wear will look more natural. Also, since it goes above the ankle I ordered an E width rather than my usual D width-glad I did! Wears this shoe: Work and play

Great fit

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Our actor had foot surgery several months ago and was concerned that we couldn't find a shoe to fit him that would look like the 1900's. These shoes fit him well and he says his foot feels better in these than his regular shoes. They are perfect for Victorian era costuming needs. Wears this shoe: on stage for 8 performances per week

Great Design, Cheaply Made

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width These shoes have a cool vintage design but are made very cheaply. I had to replace the soles on both shoes after 1 year, and the leather wears out very easily. I would gladly pay more for these shoes if they were better quality because I love the edwardian design so much. Wears this shoe: all the time

A great shoe,but slippery bottoms
November 20, 2012
Reviewer: Drreadabook from Silver Spring, MD
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width These are a nicely elegant classic shoe boot. However, the bottoms had no skid guard and were very slippery while walking. I had to purchase shoe guards at a cost of $30.00. Wears this shoe: Work, church
