I have an ankle problem and have been trying to resolve it without surgery for the past 3 years. I purchased the black boots and found relief . Purchased the brown to give me options and voila! I have the answer to my prayers . Ankle comfort and high style .

This is about my 15th pair of this Stacy Adams Madison shoe. I have kept a pair of black and a pair of brown in my wardrobe since the late 1960's. Initially I chose them because my Grandfather and his brothers wore them, and I wanted to imitate them. What I discovered is that apart from a timeless dignity and aesthetic, they are a really comfortable dress shoe. They are light weight and support the ankle and instep better than any shoe I have ever owned. Their styling is distinctive.
Wears this shoe: Formally with suits, brown ones work well with Khakis for business casual.

Very good ankle support. I normally wear an 11 wide shoe, but I ordered a double wide and it still felt a little narrow. Other than that no problem. Very comfortable as well.
