Shoe Size: Felt full size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I don't normally wear this style of shoe, which may account for the reason it feels a size larger but it does slip a bit on my foot. It is a well made, attractive shoe. In case you can't tell from the pictures, this is that square toe 'long look' shoe which can make your foot look bigger. I found I have about a full inch of open space above my big toe, but the shoe shape and width grips my foot appropriately, just some slipping on my heel. Wears this shoe: Going out, theatre, concerts, special ocassions

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width The color and style of te cognac shoe is amazing. Very comfortable. But they feel a bit big. I would order a half size smaller than normal in this shoe. I'm just going to wear thicker socks. Good look that you can dress up or down. Wears this shoe: Work, formal events

The sole is made of a very hard man made material that should wear well but makes footsteps too noisy indoors on uncarpeted floors.The sole is smooth (leather colored) except for about 1/3 of the area that is black with a 1/8" grid of fine bumps for slip resistance in the wet.
