Exactly like the photos; no surprises. The fact that your foot slides down due to the wedge heel, turned out to be a little uncomfortable for me, but this is not a fault with the shoe. I didn't return the shoe because overall comfortable and I get the impression that the leather will wear well; time will tell.
Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe with skirts and dresses to work.

Where have you been all my life? This shoe is fantastic! Comfortable, plenty of cushion, easy on the toes (recently had bunion surgery), does not bind, can walk many miles in these!

This is an ideal shoe to wear with pants in the Fall/Winter before sandal season. I ordered a size 9 medium and the shoe is a bit wide but O-K, especially if I want to wear socks. The leaf embellishments are very nice and do not detract. The quality of leather is very good.

European Fit

I had forgotten about my experience with the European sizes. I wear 7.5 and ordered a size 38, but is is very large on me. I think if I order the European size, it will have to have open toes, and I would order a size 37. That said, I think this shoe does not have any arch support to speak of. The leather uppers feel wonderful, however, and the styling is very nice.
