Cute Shoe But Fit Is Strange

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I wear size 7 1/2 in almost all shoes and accordingly ordered this one in 7 1/2. For me, the fit was too tight unless I wore it with tights only and I didn't want to be limited to that. Even then, it was pinching my toes and causing pain. I exchanged it for an 8 and reconciled myself to wearing it with inserts and light socks. With all that, there was enough room for my toes. One selling point for me was that the metal around the lace holes is copper colored. That matches my handbag with the rose colored hardware. Wears this shoe: casual

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought these in the mogano suede. The color is darker and taupier than pictured so I presume that the mud grey color is really dark. I said the shoe runs true to size because there's no option for saying they're a quarter size small but that's in reality what they are. The heel, although not high, pitches the foot right up against the toe box. This can be somewhat remedied by inserting a thin cork half sole which will push the foot back. I'll probably keep the 7 1/2 since I don't want to wear heavy socks with an 8. But if you want to do this, go 1/2 size up. The shoe is very cute, makes the foot look small and if you get the right size, will be very comfortable. The mogano suede color is like a dark camel and is completely neutral. It would go nicely with a brown toned snake print bag. And for an unexpected touch, it has copper colored fittings around the lace holes. Will look great with skinny jeans or a skirt with a pop color tight. I definitely recommend this shoe. Wears this shoe: Casual and Dressy Casual
