I am an orthopedic massage therapist, and I recommend these shoes to many in my practice. They help those that walk on the outside of their feet to learn how to walk more in the middle and stretch the insides of their legs. This is particularly healthy for runners, who usually have this problem. I work for a personal fitness trainer, who runs a studio, and I am trying to get her to try them. I sure hope she does, she won't be sorry!

I have bulging discs in my back and shape ups are the best ones to wear. I can shop longer in the store before my back starts hurting!!!! Honestly, don't pass these shoes up if you have back problems!!! They take alittle bit of time to get used to but once you do..you will never go back to regular gym shoes again!!! LOVE THEM!!!

These give me shin splints and were not comfortable for me. I have severe overpronation so that may have been my main issue, but if you need arch support they probably aren't a good choice.

I love the Sketchers shape ups. I had developed plantar fasciitis in my heal and was told that this shoe is the one to wear. I have to agree. I stand most of the day and this shoe is very comfortable and I don't have the pain in my heal anymore. It takes just a little bit to get used to the feel of the shoe but after wearing it for a few hours the first day it was very comfortable. I would recommend this shoe to anyone with plantar fasciitis.
Wears this shoe: On my daily walks and on my job, which requires me to stand most of the time.

awsome fit and feel,long wearing time as well, they NEVER wear out!!! They are great for walking,The last pair I baught lasted me 1 year, so from experiance, I hope THIS pair lasts as long or ever longer.

I just put on my new ones I had been saving. It usually takes me 6 months to break in shoes. These are ready to go now. I have foot and back problems. If I don't wear these to walk, my knees and hips hurt. Don't ever discontinue this style without telling me!

Working 12 hour shifts at a hospital requires comfy shoes. Built with stability toning in mind, these fit the bill for ultimate cushioning. These were my first shape ups to match our hospital ciel scrubs, and since I have bought two more in other colors, they are that great. I can't say that they've shaped me up, but after a busy shift I can feel the burn in my thighs. I was told to go up one size in these, but actually I ended up going a full size down for best fit for my narrow feet.

I have a pair exactly like the ones I ordered (only worn on the soles) so I was pleased to be able to replace them. They are great shoes if you have planters fasciatis. They provide lots of cushion between your heels and the walking surface. I walk approximately two miles a day on a treadmill or outside. I had searched for quite some time before I found these shoes on your site. Thanks for a great walking shoe.
