I purchased these walking shoes for my husband after he had hip replacement surgery. I found these and he just loves them. Says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever owned. Now he wants a pair in white.

Most sneakers you buy feel big and heavy. These sneakers are like walking in slippers. They are not loose but after the end of the day still feel good on your feet.

When I retired 9 years ago I decided to make everything simple. I bought 10 pairs of jeans, 15 golf shirts and Propet Lifewalker strap shoes. I have one pair for gardening, one pair for volunteering at the Hospital and Church, and one pair in stock. I usually buy a near pair every year when the oldest pair falls apart.

The Propet LifeWalker is the first really comfortable shoe I've owned in many years. It is better on my feet after just a few wearings than two models of Mephisto and many sports shoes.I bought the size 12, my usual size, and found it tight, but liked it well enough to buy another pair a size larger. The 13 is perfect.
Wears this shoe: anytime, but it's especially good when I have to stand up a lot.

These shoes have been a very good buy. Due to a wide width and slightly different sized feet, these shoes (and the ones before these) have fit quite comfortably and worn well.

So far, the shoes have been everything advertised.Propet was one of the few manufacturers that provided hook and loop closures at a fair price. I don't like hook and closure shoes but because of health reasons they do the job and look pretty good.
