Great looking boots. Well built. Unfortunately, the 10 1/2 size I always wear came very big. At least a half size bigger. I need to retrn these for size 10.

The description says that the boot has a roomy toebox, so im not sure if it is supposed to run a little large or not, but i wear an 11, ordered a 10.5 and they were still a little too big.I am happy with them but if i had to order them again i would go one more half size smaller, the width was fine.Comfortable and light.

Too big, won't stay tied

These are nice shoes if they fit. However, they were at least one-half to a full size bigger than labeled. They also seem a little wider than expected. Another problem is that they won't stay tied no matter what I do. I don't know if it is the laces or something else, but they won't stay tied. Since I had to wear them to find this out, I guess I'm stuck with them and will have to eat the loss.

The boot is a bit heavy, but it is also very comfortable. It is great to wear especially when the weather is cooler and even wet. The boot also looks great. Haven't gone wrong with Clarks yet.

The Clarks ASH has become one of my favorite everyday boots. I bought a pair at a local Clarks store a few weeks ago and immediately liked them. They are my daily work shoes and fearing Clarks may cancel the line, I figured I'd buy a 2nd pair as a backup. They feel very sturdy and I can see them lasting a long time, so my backup pair may not be needed for a while. I have smaller ankles so they are a little loose in that area, but overall the shoes fit pretty well. I don't have any intentions of using them as hiking boots, but I'm comfortable they could do the job if you have a good pair of hiking socks to fill out any loose areas.

I bought the Clarks because of the reputation of these shoes lasting, their quality and look.Though I thought it looked better in the picture I am still enjoying my purchase.
