I am a first time Red Wing owner and I wish I would have tried them sooner. This is an awesome shoe that is not just comfortable but extremely supportive. I tend to have a problem with my arches and these are perfect.

I have a wide foot as well as a high instep. Shoe buying for me is always tough. These shoes are fabulous. I am on my feet 8-10 hours a day. These shoes fit great, the soul is lasting, and they are extremely comfortable. They were so good I bought a second pair in a different color.

I have a pretty high instep and this shoe doesn't necessarily allow for that. It's a wonderfully comfortable shoe though! I would definitely recommend it, especially for those with a lower instep.

The shoe is very nice and priced reasonably. True to size and comfortable. Only downfall I can find is it does tend to scuff easily if you are doing any kind of labor type work.

I wear a size 13A. As you can well imgaine, men's shoes in this size are very difficult to find. This particular Red Wing shoe (Beacon) was advertised as a 13 Narrow. Owing to the fact that it was a tie shoe, I thought I'd take a chance and try it, even though it wasn't an A Width. I am very happy to report the shoe fits like a glove and is very comfortable to wear. What a great find - I am very pleased!!

This is the second pair of Red Wing Beacon shoes I've bought. I love the styling and I can wear them all day long, not just 8 hours. I work 16 hours a day and most of the time I am on my feet. These shoes are fantastic!!! I would recommend them to anyone that needs a sturdy yet very comfortable shoe!

Normally I wear an A width shoe and I originally ordered the narrow B width. Unfortunately and surprisingly, it was way too narrow. I returned them to Shoebuy and ordered the same shoe in medium D width. They fit perfectly everywhere but are a touch too wide in the front, but I can live with that. So, widthwise, I think the shoes are narrower than marked. They seem to be very well built shoes. Returning the shoes to Shoebuy and reordering was easily done. They do an outstanding job with customer service!

Great shoes. I ordered 13EE and they fit my wide feet perfectly. I really like the style and the quality appears to be excellent. I've only had them for a few weeks, but I do a lot of walking and they were comfortable right off the bat. I would definitely recommend these shoes and I am certain I will buy another pair when these ones wear out.

Great looking shoe, however, the instep was cut a little low and I had a hard time getting it on and off. I normally do not have this problem with A width shoes. This shoe is cut B width. Had to return the shoe for a different style. Have worn Red Wing before and like the quality.

I bought these shoes for my husband who has narrow feet. Shoe stores rarely have his size in stock, so I ordered these online. He loves the shoes and they look very nice. He's only had them a few weeks, so it's hard to say how well they will wear. He feels that the shoes are a bit too narrow, which for him is rare. He usually has to order narrow and have them stretched a bit anyway. Overall he is very pleased with this shoe.

These shoes fit my feet like they were custom made forme. They are narrow in the heel but have plenty of space in the toes. They are very comfortable. I ordered another pair after the first ones and asked for(and received) A pair of them for A Cristmas present, so I now have 3 pairs.
Wears this shoe: I wear these shoes every day, alternating between pairs.

I am on my feet all day on concrete floors. The Redwing brand shoe is the best shoe by far that I have found to keep me comfortable all day long. The last pair I had lasted two years of being worn 5 to 6 days a week for 12+ hours a day. The shoes are easy to maintain as well.

This is my second pair of Red Wing shoes. Once again I find them to be of excellent construction: non-slippery sole, the front part of the shoe is lined with moisture-wicking material, cushioned insoles. I felt initially that the front of the shoe was a little low but after a few wears the shoes stretched a bit and they are very comfortable and fit like gloves. Unlike Red Wing Alleys the heel feels secure in these.
