My wife bought these boots for me and they were comfortable from the first time I wore them. Waiting to see how they do this winter. They are though a very comfortable boot.

I work outside in very demanding conditions, our company is starting up a Gold Mining Operation in the Hot Sonoran Desert. I've been searching for a steel toed boot that would keep me safe, but at the same time not be too heavy and allow my feet to stay cool. I finally found the right boot, great support, light as a feather and my feet are cooler than 3 pairs of boots I have worn here over the past 2 years.

A Solid, Light Weight Safety Shoe

I bought the first pair because they were cheap and available in a wide width. I felt it was a full sized shoe after I wore it and it stayed waterproof until it started to breakdown at about 18 months. I wear them year around, outside on the Philadelphia docks so at 250lbs I can't complain. I contacted the company about how to maintain them and their recommendation was not to treat them with anything, just let them air dry. Low maintenance and long wear makes this safety shoe a winner so bought the second pair. Additionally, they are warm enough for a non-insulated shoe.

I like these so much I own 3 pairs now. Don't like them to wear out too soon or get funky. Wear them every other day so they don't get damp or smelly. These are great work shoes. They feel as comfortable as my bedroom slippers!!

I was looking for a good pair of work shoes, and at the time these were on sale. I'd read a few reviews and know Timberland makes a great shoe, but wow. I tried them on the moment they arrived and wore them all day without any problem. Been wearing them nearly everyday since. No break in time at all, felt great immediately, even after changing from another pair. They are actually lighter than the pair of New Balance I bought from this site!! Some of the best shoes to work (or even play in) that I've ever had. First day I had them on, also went through mud, oil, water, grease, etc. have excellent grip even in the worst mud, easy to clean, and waterproof. Highly recommended.
