Definitely not what you would take along for a long walk. In fact anything more than a few paces was a real torment. I tried to wear them for two days (unfortunately I decided to walk a bit to try them) and had my feet ruined in the process.

I purchased a 1/2 size smaller based upon several recommendations from other users. I ended up having to return them for a full size smaller. I do love these shoes though! they look great with khakis, dress pants, and even jeans. very versatile!

Based on other buyers' reviews, I bought a size 8 instead of my regular 8.5. An 8.5 would definitely have been too big; the 8 is just right. The shoes are somewhat narrow, but I'm sure they will stretch a little the more I wear them. I love the classic look of this shoe, and the craftsmanship is first rate. I always get compliments on them, especially from other guys at work. They want to know the maker.

I now have three pair. Three colors. I wear them to work everyday. Comfortable from day one, no break-in needed.I never thought I would consider a rubber sole to be a dress shoe but with our slippery conditions in the winter the traction is great, and yet they look good too.I bought the first pair at a store and then found Shoebuy.com. By far the best price and service with free shipping too. Can't beat it.

Having had a previous pair of J&M shoes that were very comfortable, I was happy so see these for sale. The quality is excellent and they fit very well. THE THICK soles should last a long time. They really look great.

My husband liked this shoe very much however was disappointed that the sole was rubber and not leather. That being said, it's a well made, well fitting shoe.
