I bought the work boots for my son who is a plumber and stands on his feet alot during the day. He also works in muddy construction areas so the waterprof boots are a must.

Absolutely Great Boot!

This boot was comfortable from the first minute I put them on. They required absolutely no break in (surprisingly for such a heavy duty boot). I'm on my feet almost all day every day and uncomfortable boots are just not tolerable. My feet and legs feel great after a long day. The fit is perfect to size and everything about the boot is great ... right down to the shoe strings ... I'm betting that they'll probably outlast me. They look good, they feel good ... the protective toe is another great feature that adds very very little weight to these already light boots. If you need boots and want a pair that'll last you without breaking your bank account ... that are comfortable right out of the box ... and that look great ... just buy these ... you won't regret it! I'll definately buy another pair if these ever wear out ... but I know that'll be a LONG time.

The greatest workboot ever

This is the second pair of Precision V-Lite WP CT 5986's that I bought after going through several pairs of the predecessor model. The first pair of 5986's stayed in one piece for 15 months while finishing construction and starting operation of a power plant and a dryer operation. There is no hazard these boots haven't met and got the best of. My feet stay dry in wet conditions. I'm stable on uneven ground and structural steel. I don't slip. The shoelaces last the life of the boot and don't come untied. The boots are light-weight and wipe clean until you've really got some miles on them. They feel as good as slippers on your feet. I wear custom orthotics with out affecting the boot in any way. I recommend heavy synthetic boot socks like Thorlo's and you'll be comfortable in the hottest weather.
Wears this shoe: All day at work and on the weekends for heavy yardwork.

I like the weight of this boot. You don't feel the composite toe at all. It is a comfortable boot for work and being on your feet 8+ hours The waterproof was a must for my job.
