Excellent lateral stability & a firm contact with the floor (no rolling). Outstanding & comfortable ankle support, firm heel bed. Great for kickboxing, step--anything in the studio. If you're using a cross trainer, stop. Do yourself a favor and buy a proper studio shoe. It will make a tremendous difference. This is one of the only ones on the market, and thankfully, it's a fantastic shoe. I won't buy anything else.

The shoe really looks nice and very comfortable. However, I find it to be tough to run in. Otherwise, I really like the shoe.

Order a full size up from what you normally wear. Actually, I do this with all sneakers I buy so I don't think this is unusual. The width is fine. I can't think of any negatives. I like them so much I'm thinking of purchasing another pair in case they decide to discontinue them.

I really like the fit and style of this shoe. Very cushiony and nice support during my step classes. But the only thing is I have only had this shoe for less than a month and a piece of the black sole(under the ball of my foot) is starting to peel off. I'm hoping this is a random defect on the manufacturer's part and am exchanging for the exact same pair. If it happens again, I'll be really bummed because I really like this shoe otherwise.

This is my second pair of Ryka's that I have bought. I do a lot step classes and aerobics so this shoe is great for that. I love the comfort and heel support. Would highly recommend.
