Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width My first experience with a wide calf boot and it was a great fit. Looks nice, lots of compliments, even goes over jeans. Would definitely buy more. I have a 16 3/4 " calf and it was easy to zip up. Wears this shoe: Wear to work and out with friends.

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked I really like this boot and haven't found one that fits my wider calf, foot and ankle in several years. This one comes close to ideal - but I have two reservations: the area around the ankle/arch is snug and the toe box is cramped. It fits ok over a very thin sock or stocking but not over a really warm pair of socks. (These are winter boots right?)Please look at the demographics dear manufacturers - the population is aging. That means our ankles are thicker, we have corns and bunions and hammer toes, etc. That doesn't mean that we don't love beautiful boots and shoes, nor does it mean that we don't have the money to pay for them. This boot comes very close to an ideal. With a little more forethought it could have been perfect. Wears this shoe: Anywhere - simple enough to dress up or down
