No fashion statement here (though none expected) they're conservative, that's what I was looking for. As a narrow-footer I simply enjoy a shoe which doesn't overlap when I pull them snug and these fit that bill. It's probably the shape of my own feet, but the toe box seems overly ample (a characteristic with most of my shoes). So, if you have toes that don't resemble flat fingers - you're in the clear.This review is written after only a dozen wearings or thereabouts - so durability issues haven't come into play.
