The 917 Lo takes design references from the original Speed Cat Mid and Future Cat Mid.
The outsole and foxing tape wrap up creating a cylindrical heel shape, the sole design is fairly smooth with grooves rather than lugs, the dip in the back collar line prevents achilles tendon irritation and the upper pattern is based on a U-throat and T-toe format to further reference the Speed Cat. Named after the Porsche 917, driven by Steve McQueen in the classic 1971 movie, Le Mans.
