I bought these shoes for my grandmother because although she is a very petite woman, her foot width was wide. The buckles allow you to really open up the shoe so they are easier to slide on. She seems to really enjoy them. Good quality.

I love the shoe. It actually is extra wide, usually when I buy extra wide they are still tight. It's a very nice shoe. I would buy it again, but in the wide width.
