Shoe seems a bit larger than marked. Maybe that's why I have to take care to tuck the side flaps in before pulling the tab tight. Resistance to soiling is excellent. I spilled a bit of spaghetti sauce on one, didn't touch it at all, and, in a few days, it dried and just fell off on its own. Overall, a decent shoe.
