I bought these for my 81 year old mother, who has had hip surgery and is somewhat unstable on her feet. She also has some difficulty bending to tie shoes. This is her second pair and she will not wear any other kind of shoes! They are flat and stable, with a sole that is in good proportion to the shoe. Even better, they are very lightweight, an important feature for someone who does not have a lot of leg strength. And the velcro straps make them perfect. Velcro is hard to find.

I have a pair of shoes exactly like this that I have been wearing when I do my treadmill, every other day and they are so comfortable. I sometimes forget I have them on and I am walking around fixing breakfast, etc. before I notice that I still have them on. So I decided to buy a pair for 'outside' walking. Wore them 'sightseeing' the other day and my feet felt wonderful. Great shoe!

I love these sneakers. I have trouble with laces, and I need to wear a brace on one leg, so I needed a sneaker with good support, and hook and loop fasteners. I was afraid everything would look like "old lady orthopedic shoes." But these look great, and are very easy to get on and off, plus the adjustable nature of the hook and loop fasteners accomodate my brace. They are very comfy, and really look cute.

I have loved Propet Womens Walkers for years now and have gotten my sister and mother on them now. They are our only choice for a tennis shoe. The comfort is wonderful and the style is much more workable than those clunky other brands.

I got these for my 101 year old mother who is in a nursing home and had similar Easy Spirit brand shoes. However, neither locally nor on-line was I able to get ES. She had had Propet shoes with laces when she was able to tie her shoes so I knew the brand was good. She was very pleased with the excellent fit and comfort of these and I was delighted they were washable!
