For Norm from NY & others...I bought my 1st pair of Otomix 30+ yrs ago & I still wear them, although I just bought a new pair. I wrestled in H.S. & now am a Master at Jeet Kune Do, which I teach. These shoes are the greatest & will outlast any others. I'll never buy another kind again. I wear an 11 but bought a 12 & I suggest you do the same. Otherwise, they fit like a glove & lightweight, too.

This is easily one of the best athletic shoes available on the market! Have had 3 pairs....they don't rip and they hold up to any type of workout!As for weightlifting other than a good pair of Converse, they give that true squat "close to the floor: feel!I recommend a pair to anyone who needs a good quality workout shoe!

First time owning Otomix. Bought them because I was looking for a nice stable shoe for lifting and a decent shoe for light sparring. After a couple of weeks no regrets. Love the shoe. Stable enough for deadlifts and squats, but comfortable enough and flexible enough for light sparring. I hope the shoe lasts. If it does will definitely buy again.
Wears this shoe: 4-5 times a week working out, sparring, and all types of cardio.

I am a bodybuilder and I have purchased Otomix shoes before. I already knew that Otomix shoe sizes run short so I ordered 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly. The width is true and the quality is top notch. I train seven days a week and they are extremely comfortable.

I enjoy my workout time, though working the medical profession, I spend the better part of my day on my feet! Otomix tends to be a lightweight and comfortable shoe for walkabout, and fit is snug without binding!

I know! These shoes were developed with weight training and martial arts in mind, though I find myself wearing them at work on my feet all day! I have old pairs that I wear doing yard work, and yes I even wear them in the gym! They fit and wear like moccasins, close to the feet and relatively light-weight!

Have been looking around for a pair of good ankle support shoe for some time till I try out this brand, was a bit hesitant at first as worried about size might not fit well. Turns out the fit was comfy, provide good support & light in weight. Can feel it especially during my shuffling from side to side during combat class. Definitely will go for my second pair of shoes soon.

Shoe fits well but was a bit tight in the toe box. Had both toe boxes streached at a shoe repair shop and the now fit well. Flat, stable sole is perfect for weight lifting. I wish Otomix made a wide shoe.

This is a great shoe for weightlifting. The sole is nice and flat and very sturdy. Keeps you well balanced deadlifting or squating. The ankle support is incredible and the shoes are very light. I used low-top cross-trainer style shoes for lifting for the last two years but I decided I needed to make a change. It was a bit hard to switch from a shoe with no ankle support and an elevated heel to the complete opposite, but I'm getting used to it.

I generally buy wrestling shoes. I like the light weight and the more closely edged sole. These are a little thicker than the wrestling version but the sole is nicely edged and they are very light weight. I also like the support that I feel in them. I also like the short wear-in time. It was only two days before the shoes felt perfect.
