Nice boot, but...

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked I like this boot. Its canvas is a good thickness with a nice worn look, the sole is ruggedrubber with varying tread, and no uncomfortable places on the heel to rub and make blisters. The size is true, however they are NARROW across the bridge of the foot. I have never had an issue like this with any shoe I've owned or even tried on for that matter. I have an average width foot. But these boots are so snug on the inside of my foot, exactly where the stitching comes down from just under the lacing grommets, that by the time I take them off a couple hours later, they have almost bruised my foot. Leaving them loosely laced makes no difference. I thought they would stretch out, I even wet them on the tight spots and wore them, to no avail. Well, I'm going to cut the stitching in that little spot and see how that works. I really like the way they look. Okay, call me crazy for not returning them.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Like: the shape, the fabric, the way they feel, the tire soles.Dislike: the black marks all over my kitchen floor from wearing them inside (won't do that again)! Neutral: in the photo, the canvas appeared to be one color, but in reality it's pretty distressed/bleached, so if that sort of thing bugs you, you might not like them.
