I'll admit that I didn't feel the Orthofeet 525 looked quite as good in person as they did in the photographs on the site. In fact I wasn't real sure I wanted to keep them but my spouse said "they don't look THAT bad". They do feel a bit like wearing boots compared to my old New Balance shoes (that I wore EVERYWHERE), especially on stairs. They are quite comfortable, though, so I'll keep wearing them. I had to put in one of the (included) foam spacers under the removable insole in order for my foot to not move around too much. I'm not at all confident that the velcro strap will last nearly as long as my old New Balance shoes did. After just a couple of weeks it already seems loose at the end.
Wears this shoe: Whenever I am not sleeping or working out.

I walk a great deal every day at work and spend a lot of time on my feet while there. These shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I have planar problems and these shoes make my feet feel great. I highly recommend them.
Wears this shoe: Daily at work; 10 to 12 hours per day.

I bought this shoe to walk around Europe in and found it to be perfect for long days on the cobble-stone streets and long walking tours. It has great support and I'm definitely happy I bought this shoe. It's not the most stylish I've owned, but definitely one of the most comfortable.

I bought these for my husband who has a medical condition on his feet, which is quite painful for him. These shoes are perfect for him and he says that they are the most comfortable he has worn in recent years.

He likes them. He wears them to work on concrete floors and believes they solved the problem he was having with plantar fasciitis (but he also stopped running and worked on his flexibility).

My husband wears these shoes, since they are the most comfortable he has found for him. He has several foot problems such as hammer toes, ped thickness lessened over the years causing tenderness, and some edema in both feet. Pleased with the purchase. The width is exactly correct for his foot problems.

The shoe looks good...it is sleek and holds its shape well while being comfortable. I had the cobbler build up the heel portion of one and the sole accepts this modification. I like it best of all the orthopedic shoes I have ordered.

However, I will make an exception for an exceptional shoe. Given that I would not have found these shoes if I had not been shopping for something special to address a periodic swelling and soreness of the feet that I have. Something special is what I found. Perfect fit at several different foot sizes, support, comfort and a look that well exceeded my expectations. You will not do any better than these shoes for comfort, ease of use at marginal times and the look that does not give their secret powers away.

Bought these for my husband. He said they felt nice and cushy at first. Then, after wearing them for a few minutes, the front of his foot became irritated from the "tongue" of the shoe. Had to send them back.
