I have a bunion and a corn on the left foot so I buy wide . This shoe I bought 71/2 D. It includes inserts which I took out so that I could wear winter thick socks when out walking . At first I thought the tongue was too long but after a few walks it softened and is o.k. now. I like the clean lines, understated style, neutral and flexible use and with straps easy to put on and take off.

I am disabled and have difficulty getting a shoe that is true to width, roomy toed and comfortable. I find that the Mt Emey 9301 fills the bill without looking too functional.

I had spent several months searching for a company that made a wide but comfortable, yet attractive shoe, for my mother who has Lymphedema. She has very large ankles and feet, due to the swelling. I wanted a shoe that she would be able to easily slip on and off and adjust herself, as she is a large woman and this is a difficult task for her. I bought this shoe for my 91 year old mother. She has a long second toe that is also a hammer toe. This is the first shoe that she has ever had that has a high enough toe box. The corn that has always been on the top of that toe is completely gone now. There are three pads that allow you to adjust the cusioning and the main cushion is well arched and has good support.The velcro closure is easy for her to open and close since she has difficulty with her hands. The shoe is very well made and well worth the money. This is her second pair. Her foot doctor even asked where I got them since he was impressed with the features. I recommend this shoe for anyone that needs support, comfort, extra width and toe room.
