These are the best boots out there- comfortable straight out the box. I think Lowa's are much better for field use.

These are the best boots I have so far -- I've tried other Lowas but these win in both comfort and build. One thing you need to know is that they are not meant to be worn on pavement -- the mid-soles are quite hard to walk all day on concrete/asphalt. These are true OFF-ROAD boots and I trust them 100%!

A Boot For all Climates And Situations

I am currently serving in the british military and bought these boots 2 years ago, they have only just recently started to show wear and tear. They have been through riot training, extreme cold weather (snow, etc), soaked several times on excercise, even deployed with me on telic in Iraq and have survived all this (even still have original laces).I would reccomend these boots to anybody wanting any pair of boots ase they are faultless. (also recently wore them backpacking in Thailand and Laos, so cope with damp humid climates as well).

These German crafted boots are the most comfortable and driest, boots I have owned!I have owned a few Meindel boots, which were very nice, but not as dry as these. I live in South Florida and thought these boots would make my feet sweat, but that is NOT the case. I wear these boots for a minimum of 8 hrs. a day and am on my feet all day on hard tarmac. The support and comfort is unrivaled by anything I have worn... BRAVO!!

Great Military Mountain Boots!!!

I'm a Chilean Marine and I was looking for a replacement for my old goretex boots, because the next month I supposed to be in operations in the Chilean Patagonia. The boots are a little bit hard to step compared to a regular boot, but great fit, always warm and dry but never hot, great support and traction. Great boot for a long, muddy and cold hike... and they also look cool!!
