I consistently wear a size 8 1/2 in other brands but usually order up a half size to a 9 in Keens. On advice given by other reviewers here I ordered a size 8 1/2 which arrived today and fits perfectly. So perfectly it could have been custom made for me...

I am an elementary school teacher and I spend a lot of time volunteering & working with dogs. Most importantly, I needed comfortable shoes with arch supports since I'm on my feet so many hours of every day. My other pair of Keens are waterproof sandals for trips to the river & other activities during summer. Near the beginning of the school year I wore them to work one Friday and loved how comfortable they were. That's when I started noticing that Keen makes more than sandals and started hunting for a pair of Keens I could wear to work and to work with dogs outdoors during the colder months. I've worn these shoes a few times to work and out with my dogs on walks and at training classes. They're comfortable, cute, versatile, and built to last - love 'em!

Loks a little chuncky when on but I chose them as I plan to wear them around Italy this winter and needed a closed in walking shoe that looks nice - that can be hard to find. These are really, really comfortable shoes to wear.

I love the look and feel of the shoe except it ran a little bigger than the last Keen pair I bought. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I wore it out so too late to return for a smaller size. I think it will work fine with a heavier pair of socks. Accomodates my orthotics just fine and I have found it hard to find shoes that do that.
Wears this shoe: I wear it to church and meetings. Wear Brooks for everyday.

I bought these shoes because I love Keens. They have great support and they go with anything. I have plantar facitis and I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. They have great arch support.

I absolutely love Keens! As a person who has had surgery on both feet, Keens really work for me. This particular style allows me to be comfortable but look a little dressy, too. I can wear these with jeans, capris or slacks. Nice price, too!

This was my first pair of Keens and I must say that I was surprised that they weren't as comfortable as I had expected. Also I wore them both with and without socks and the black from the shoes came off both on my toe and sock. I guess I just expected more...I won't buy another pair of Keens.

Be aware that Keen uses several lasts. Therefore, an 8 in NOT the same in all styles. The Sydney II was discontinued - I'd worn them for years. After ordering and returning several styles, I called Keen and they recommended Toyah as the closest fit to the Sydney II.

I have been looking for a super comfortable pair of shoes that I can wear all day long during my trip to Italy in March. I love these shoes! There was no need to break these in, they were so comfortable with great support right away. I have several pairs of Keen shoes and these have the same great quality, fun style and comfort.
