One of my boys has very wide, thick feet, making it difficult to find shoes that fit well. These have a large toe box and the elastic "laces" make it easy to adjust the fit. These shoes wear exceptionally well. I love the rubberized toes. Usually this son wears out shoes so much that we can't pass them down to his younger brother, but these shoes will be in the family for a while. Wears this shoe: playground, school, hiking
