The J&M model Larken are nice looking shoes but the quality of the upper leather is rather disappointing. The leather was very dry and the first raindrop was immediately absorbed by the leather. After a intense treatment of wax and shoe polish on top it is not perfect but much better. I always let the shoes rest for at least 24 hours after wearing them.

I bought this shoe for work on days when I don't need to wear my dress shoes. They are a great in between shoe, not too casual that you couldn't wear them to work and not to dressy that they would look odd with dockers. Great price and on top of that Shoebuy is the best place to buy any shoe!

I normally wear a 9 1/2. When I ordered my first pair the shoes were too narrow. I then ordered a new pair, a 9 1/2 wide. The width was now right, but the shoes do seem to be at least a 1/2 size longer than a typical 9 1/2.
