These hats keep you cooler than no hat at all, easily. Plenty of face and neck shade and sun protection with the ventilated sides. Ordered hat was a bit large as expected, just wrapped the inside sweatband with 3/4" weatherstripping, fits great.

I purchased the Henschel 5220 hat for my guy who has gone through 3 of these hats. He absolutely loves them and wears them to work, home and vacation. So he asked for another hat. They fit perfectly and are great protection from the sun.

Nice hat for the price

I bought this hat with a Hawaiian cruise in mind. My normal hat is a Tilley of similar style (great hat for the brutal high desert summer sun). I was afraid I might lose my $80 Tilley hat over the side of the ship! Anyway, the Henschel is a little loose on the fit. Nothing a little padding in the brim tape won't fix. The reason I give it 3 stars is the hat is pretty stiff. Definitely not crush-able. I want a hat that I can pack away or stuff in a backpack. I will keep the hat, but the Tilley will make the trip to Hawaii afterall.
