Top Notch Hat July 31, 2012

These hats keep you cooler than no hat at all, easily. Plenty of face and neck shade and sun protection with the ventilated sides. Ordered hat was a bit large as expected, just wrapped the inside sweatband with 3/4" weatherstripping, fits great.

I purchased the Henschel 5220 hat for my guy who has gone through 3 of these hats. He absolutely loves them and wears them to work, home and vacation. So he asked for another hat. They fit perfectly and are great protection from the sun.

Nice hat for the price November 03, 2011

I bought this hat with a Hawaiian cruise in mind. My normal hat is a Tilley of similar style (great hat for the brutal high desert summer sun). I was afraid I might lose my $80 Tilley hat over the side of the ship! Anyway, the Henschel is a little loose on the fit. Nothing a little padding in the brim tape won't fix. The reason I give it 3 stars is the hat is pretty stiff. Definitely not crush-able. I want a hat that I can pack away or stuff in a backpack. I will keep the hat, but the Tilley will make the trip to Hawaii afterall.

While i like the hat, the pictures don't exactly explain or describe what i was looking for. The hat works and will do the job i needed it to do. Had i known it had a shiny finish or sheen i would have likely made a different choice. I just don't think this finish will stand up to the wear and dust and such i encounter. Otherwise they are great hats that satisfy a need. thanks,

Golf hat March 15, 2011

Since I starting playing golf a few years ago I'm out in the sun more than ever. I carry sun block but don't always remember it. Another golfer had a Henschel 5220 that I tried and since then I always use it. If I forget my sun block my hat works well without it. No skin cancer spots last year. Blocks the rays while keeping your head cool.

The HENSCHEL is just the perfect item I have been looking to buy.. This hat is awesome! The right hat for our area, so disappointed when I put it on and it fit over my ears, ha wrong size. Looking forward to the replacement.

I love this hat. I have a large head so XL was perfect for me. The venting works well and the hat crushes down so I can fit it in my bag. I recommend this hat. I was very happy with this purchase.

I have this hat in beige as well as the green. They vent very well, are light weight, and have a chin strap... great for just about any out door activity where you want to keep the sun out and your head cool. Pretty much true to size.
