This shoe is not waterproof as advertised on some websites. There are air holes which enable breathability, however, this obviously will leave your socks wet if walking in puddles. Also, the rubber upper (the part that cups the posterior part of your foot) is quite uncomfortable and leaves your foot sore. I haven't had problems with ecco shoes before, this is the first time.

This is my fist pair of ecco's and they are great, they are light and very comfortable and I love that I can just slip them straight on and they go with everything that I wear, they are a great summer shoe. I will certainly not hesitate buying another pair of ecco's.

The rubber lace is one of the best features of this shoe; you can slip in your foot and go - the body is also nicely designed to have good air ventilation and to keep the shoe fresh. Overall it looks great and so far I have no dislikes about this shoe.
