I bought these shoes in particular because I wanted a shoe with a high enough heel that I wouldn't need to have my wedding dress hemmed. And with the platform, I expect they will be pretty comfortable to walk around in all day. I consistently wear a size 5-1/2 shoe, and these feel pretty true to size--maybe only slightly wide. The shoes look a little nicer in the photos online than they do in person, because the satin around the buckle holes in the straps is a little frayed. But it is not that noticeable, and they still look nice enough for shoes that I will (hopefully) only wear once. It is true that the shoes stain very easily; I recommend wearing clean, sheer white stockings when trying them on, and even then, only wearing the shoes just long enough to determine whether or not they fit. Otherwise, in just a minute, perspiration will cause a perfect outline of your toes on the footbed. All in all, the shoes are pretty cute, and I am happy with my purchase. My only real complaint is that there are no instructions on how/where to get them dyed.

I got these platform heels because they looked comfy and cute. As a six foot tall bride, I was eye to eye with my 6'4" hubby in these heels. The shoes were very comfy even though I don't wear high heels much. I did not mind being a 6'4" bride on my wedding day.

I bought these shoes to wear at my wedding. I'm petite and wanted a shoe with a lot of height, but also long wearability. I find the platform and heal height to be comfortable. They do, however, stain VERY easily. Even if your feet aren't sweaty, you'll leave a mark on the sole. So wear socks when you try them on!

I bought this pair for my July 2010 wedding. The price is unbeatable. They are not that comfortable, but they are not unbearable. I was a little surprised how tight the straps across the toes were considering I have a pretty narrow foot. Even with that, the height and style are fantastic.
