Wanted a red pair of boots to wear at Christmas. Since red boots aren't plentiful in supply, these were a steal. Leather isn't especially soft, but are comfortable for wear.

For no reason, I absolutely had to have a pair of red cowboy boots. Now experienced, I can tell you for cowboy boots judge your size by the actual size your foot measures, and then go down one. I am a 7 and I bought a 6. What makes these boots so great is the utter softness and give of the leather that easily accomodates and forms to your foot, not stiff at all which I discovered is the painful alternative. Add to that the obvious quality workmanship, classic detail, rich red hue, and total comfort! Durango is my new go to boot!

It is hard to believe that a western boot could be so comfortable, but this one certainly is. I have no idea why I wanted a pair of red western boots, but considering that red is my favorite color, I thought that red boots would look really awesome with a pair of my denims. I feel great in them. These boots are good quality. I do find that I have to wear a heavier sock than usual with them. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Wears this shoe: I wore these to a dance on Nov. 12. Will only use them for dress purposes.
