Because I have many foot problems I needed a shoe with good support and a very tall toebox. The Drew Blazer in an 8 wide (compares to an 8.5 wide in SAS) fits the bill. Its toebox seemed the tallest. The heel was too big but lacing with the tiny hole at the top of the shoe corrected this somewhat. I may still need to put a cushion in the back of the heel as one foot is smaller than the other. The Blazer Plus 11 fits like a corset to support the arch and was wonderful with my new insoles from the doctor who did approve this shoe. It was my choice for a shoe that fits like cloud 9.
Wears this shoe: The Blazer Plus 11 is my everday shoe, but not for dress.

I bought this shoe because I had bought the same style in beige nubuck and I loved them but needed a black pair also. These are not the most lovely shoe, (but not as bad as some) but if you have thick orthotics, they are great. These shoes are very supportive everywhere. My feet don't hurt anymore.

I had considerable pain in one foot. The podiatrist explained that I have a falling archin my left foot. After trying "gel" socks and different inserts I found the Drew shoes. Coupled with a small adjustment by the podiatrist,I finally have real comfort!!!
