I've never had Docs, although I've had many boots in my time. They felt extremely wide at first but once I put on the appropriate socks and threw in my own insole, they fit just right. I think people without foot problems could wear them as it is. They are good leather boots.

I bought these boots for motorcycle riding. They work perfectly thus far for that, and the more I break them in, the more comfortable they are to walk in as well. The steel toe did make it difficult to shift; however, they do offer added safety without being as heavy or clunky as "safety" boots.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. They are a little hard to break in at first, so a leather conditioner is recommended.
