Coats are long outer garments worn over clothes and designed to cover the upper part of the body. Coats are generally made of warm insulating materials such as wool, leather or synthetic fabrics and feature long sleeves and open fronts with a zip or buttoned closure. Coats vary significantly in style and design and may include, but are not limited to; trench coats, rain coats, winter coats, leather jackets and parkas.
