The term comfortable, as employed in the footwear industry, refers to footwear specially designed to provide adequate foot support or relief from discomfort when walking or running. The signature features of comfortable footwear are padded footbeds, broader toe boxes, contoured footbeds that follow the shape of the foot, shorter heel heights, flexible soles, greater arch support, polyurethane outer soles, and in some cases, rubber nubs on the soles to increase traction.

Really great looking shoes. Since it's still cold where I live I have not worn them yet, probably will in March if warm enough. Felt a tad loose, but that may be due to cold weather. Think in hot weather they will feel snugger. Will look great with many different outfits. Looking forward to wearing them. Glad I got them.
