Sun protection refers to clothing, lotions, sprays, or any other product that provides protection against the Sun?s UV rays. Lotions such as sunblock and sunscreen are meant to be applied directly on the skin to be effective while sun protective clothing is made from fabrics designed to block a certain amount of ultraviolet radiation. Sun Protection factor or SPF number, usually between 15 to 50+, is generally assigned to sun protective products to describe the degree of protection provided.
