The shoe is lovely for a ballet flat. The problem I found is that the lining of the show was sewn such that when the shoe was on, the lining showed all the way around the foot, and on a black shoe it was very noticeable. Maybe the pair I got was an anomaly,but I am returning them for an exchange.
Wears this shoe: I returned them. But I would have worn them lots of places & occasions.

cute, beautiful look and feel... got tons of compliments... only problem? as day went on, almost fell OUT of shoe. seems a half-size to big. but perfect for narrow feet

I placed an order of black patent 8.5M.But, somehow, I received 8.5W, and I am keeping them.I haven't gone out yet to give you a full review, but, Wide size might be really better since patent shoes are stiff and I do have back problem.I wanted to have dressy low heel and this pair is perfect for formal occasions.Very inexpensive and they don't look cheep at all.

I actually loved the color, material, heel height and design of the shoe. It was simply too, too wide for me. I gave the shoes to a friend who has worn them at least 3 X each week since I gave them to her. I made a friend very happy!
