They are sturdy and fabulous, and an 18 year old commented on how cool they are (I'm 44). I am a city person with no car and have to walk everywhere, and these have been wonderful. 	Clarks Heath Woodlark Comfortable & Stylish March 05, 2013 Reviewer: Marie from Orange County, California I had my eye on these boots and waited for them to go on sale. I took the advice of other raters and ordered a half size up. They were right with their assessment. The boots fit comfortably and I wore them walking around LA for several hours with no problems. The heel height is comfortable for walking, I don't feel like I am going to keel over. The cushioned insoles give the boots that cushioning feel that clarks are known for and allows for extended wear time. I wear thin socks/trouser socks with them. The only thing I'm not sure I like is that they do seem to scuff easier. I do like the scuff look but I'm not sure if it is going to affect the life of the boots. I would definitely recommend these boots. Wears this shoe: Often, whenever I go out shopping or just out and about.
