A Cuban Heel is a broad heel that is angled at the back, straight in the front, and tapers to a slightly narrower base. A Cuban heel is of moderate height and the base is fairly broad. Cuban heels are found on many styles of men's and women's shoes including boots, sandals, and pumps. A famous example of Cuban heels is the style of chelsea boots worn by the Beatles in the 60's. Cuban heels are sometimes referred to as Latin heels, as well.
Strappy shoes are shoes that are characterized by multiple straps covering the toe and/or heel. The straps on strappy shoes can be used to secure the shoe to the foot or some of them may be more for ornamentation.

I was afraid to get this shoe because of the material. I didn't think it would be comfortable. The shoe size and width is true to side and extremely comfortable. I got this shoe to take on a cruise because I can wear it with many different outfits for the evening without having to bring multiple pairs of shoes.
