Earthies Ensenada Runs short and narrow

I tried the Earthies Ensenada in the black calf, unsuccessfully. I have a slightly wide foot, but wear shoes in a medium width. Yet this shoe was tight, both at the toe and the instep. I do not have a high instep. Also, I wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe, ordered the 9, and they are too short. I squeezed my toes into the too narrow toe area, reached the front of the shoe, and could only barely zip up the back zipper on the shoe. From my experience, this shoe is a half size short, but these are my first Earthies brand. I couldn't appreciate the arch support because the arch of the shoe was too far forward for my foot. Basically nothing about this shoe works for me, and I returned them.To those considering a purchase, I call attention to the shape of the toe area; it is pointed. My feet are a bit more square at the toe.

The second I saw this shoe, I knew I had to get it. No disappointment here--it fits like a dream and the comfort is amazing. I've worn them twice--all day both times--and gotten lots of compliments. Perhaps I need to get them in another color....

I received this shoe and it is very cute and fit true to size which was nice. the only reason i don't give it 5 stars is b/c the color is nothing like what it looks like online, i ordered the brown and it is really more of a tan color which was a disappointment b/c i really wanted brown but i still like the shoe and will keep them. they are comfortable to wear but they do seem to be kind of narrow b/c i have normal sized feet and always order normal width shoes and these were just a little tight at the widest part of my foot. overall i really like the shoes

Love this in the Olive Lizard! I wear 9 1/2N in Naturalizer and this fits perfectly! It is VERY comfortable. I chose the olive green since it was a different color. Green is big this spring and this can go as a neutral as well. I can walk easily with great support...love it!
