Quarter strap shoes are shoes which have a portion of an ankle strap across the front of the ankle and then a heel cup covering the back of the ankle where the strap attaches on either side.

I had spent a lot of time searching for just the right shoe for my wedding. I wanted a low or no heel and was just not finding elegant, bride-worthy shoes in that category. I was attracted to the Paltrow and finally ordered it. I worried that the shoe would not be as great in real life as on the site, but it totally surpassed my expectations. It fits perfect and is GORGEOUS! I can't wait to wear it down the aisle :)
